Welcome everyone to the first summer edition of the SWIS newsletter
Sirius Satellite Radio:
As many of you already know we are now streaming Sirius Satellite Radio again in the background of our stream. We were without any music for a little over two weeks because of an invalid complaint from a former regular of SwisLive. After showing Camstreams that Sirius was ok with the stream and that it wasn't illegal, we were allowed to start playing music again! Thanks Sirius!

SWISLIVE STATS:
The numbers have crazy this past two weeks! we have celebrated many days as #1 truck cam and have become the 5th most popular voted cam on the Earthcam network! with over 1,100 votes.To vote on Earthcams follow this link and click on the stars for SwisLive then click on the number of stars that you feel we deserve. http://www.earthcam.com/search/ft_search.php?s1=1&term=SWISLIVE&x=49&y=9 As of posting this letter our site has had more than 93,500 visitors and climbing by the minute! We are now approaching 5 months on Camstreams and I think our numbers say we are one of the most popular Cams on the internet. All of this would not be possible without the great regulars that we have and the excellent help we get from our Admins.
ADMIN:
The Admins or Moderators that we have in the room are an invaluable asset to SwisLive, for without them we would not be able to maintain as safe of an environment for everyone. With that I would like to welcome our newest Admin, Bobcat. Bobcat is from the land Down under, Australia, and is a great help to me and Bears streams. Please give Bobcat a hearty welcome to the red team the next time you see her. We have had a rash of people lately that are unable or refuse to follow the rules in the room and have to be booted out, its a shame because we would like everyone to be happy in SwisLive but we know that isn't possible.
ADMIN SPOTLIGHT:
Life is just a tire swing, the ranting of a Madman Admin, by Bill4080
First the obvious question, the 4080 in my name refers to the nearest latitude and longitude to my location. 40 degrees n 80 degrees w.
I am 5 minutes from Pittsburgh, and way beyond normal. Almost 50, almost sane. Former Marine, high-school drop-out; Licensed pyrotechnician, convicted felon. I've been to the top, and fallen back down; I have dined with judges, celebrities, and sports figures, and I've eaten from a garbage can. I have lived in a 7 bedroom house, and slept in my car for months at a time. Regrets? Yes! Would I change anything? Only one thing, the way I treated people, who were only trying to help me. Foolish pride kept me from becoming what I could have been. PRIDE and nothing else, kept me down.I was born in Pittsburgh Pa in July of '59. Except for my time in the Marines, I have lived my whole life within 10 miles of where I was born. I presently run a U-haul shop, but I've had too many jobs to count. Auto parts, Bartender, Bouncer, Roofing contractor, Bodyguard, Stagehand, Driver, Convenience store clerk, the list goes on. I have been thru all 50 states, 5 foreign countries, crossed the Equator twice, and the international date line four times. I have fought many men, and truly loved only one woman, Broken every major bone at least once, been beaten, stabbed and shot. I faced death once. And held a friend while she died. My mother, father, brother and sister are still alive, but I lost my youngest sister, in 1995. I am an avid motorcyclist, and boater. I am an animal lover.... but not to the point of P.E.T.A. I brake for animals..............but I also eat them and wear their skins. I may not agree with what you say but I will defend with my life, your right to say it. I am a patriotic American, who believes that, PRAYER and PADDLES need to be brought back to the schools. All this I tell you, not to brag, but to let you all know just what makes me who I am But as my Dear Grandfather used to say " Them that kin brag without lyin', let 'em BRAG. So until next time I leave you with this thought. It takes a lifetime to live down the reputation you got, while you were "living it up".

There's a lot of people viewing my photos and leaving comments, and all of you know I love comments! The page hits are still strong, well over 4500 hits from people all over the world. I am so pleased that you like the photos, remember, if you see something that you would like to have for your own, my photos are for sale. All of my photos can be enlarged to 20x30 and shipped to your front door.
This weeks photos are from all over, the first ones are from downtown Indianapolis Indiana. The flowers, Cassie and the alligator sign are from my lake in Arkansas, the geese are from Illinois and Missouri, finally the dead looking trees are from Georgia on my trip out of Florida.
